SMSGT ROBERT LAWRENCE LINDSEY, 83
BEAVERCREEK, OHIO
U.S.A.F. VIETNAM VETERAN

Member of The Ohio Patriot Guard Riders

Bob was a wonderful human being, his passion for helping people showed in everything he did. Bob was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America from boyhood to adulthood. Bob served Twenty-eight years of active duty in the United States Air Force serving around the world and even a tour of duty in the Vietnam War. After his service was over Bob stayed active driving school buses for Beavercreek City Schools and later volunteering for the Beavercreek Senior Center.

Bob was an avid motorcycle rider and was an active member of the “Patriot Guard Riders” (Ohio) for 12 years. Bob was looked up to for his ability to lighten the mood of a funeral with our members by making sure they would not become overwhelmed with the emotions of a funeral. On Welcome Home missions and Deployment missions he could talk with the troops, and they listened to what he had to say but, the thing is Bob would always let them know they were respected by all of we veterans that went before them.

We used to tease Bob about when he crossed Delaware with George Washington, and those that would be around would laugh and carry on with it. If we did not pick on him, he thought we were mad at him.

In closing, we will miss you “Ole Wise One” and forever remember you for the man you were.

“Rest in Peace SMSGT Robert Lawrence Lindsey”
