Ladies and Gentlemen
of the Patriot Guard Riders of
Ohio...
On July 22nd the
members of the Ohio PGR met our son
as he arrived in Cincinnati and
escorted our son along with our
grandson Joseph D. Larsen's casket up
to Middletown to the funeral home.
The next day they stood by at
attention, each with a U.S. flag, for
the entire time of the visitation.
The day of the funeral
these same good men and women were
present at the funeral service once
again each with a U.S. flag adding
additional dignity and respect to the
funeral.
From the funeral home
they escorted the funeral procession
to the grave site and again stood by
at attention until the funeral
service was concluded once again
adding an additional element of
dignity and respect to the service.
My wife and I wish to
sincerely express our thanks for your
fine organizations particpation in
Joseph's funeral...God bless you all
and please continue your noble
efforts.
Sincerely,
Douglas and Linda Larsen

Having
attended JP's visitation on Sunday
and his funeral yesterday, I wanted
to say thank you. Your people
made all the difference! Seeing
you at both the visitation and
funeral gave me an overwhelming sense
of patriotism and pride. I
consider myself a patriotic person,
but you really made me so proud to be
an American.
I have a son
serving with the 10th MTN. DIV. in
Afghanistan (he knew JP) and a
son-in-law serving with the 519th MP
BN in Iraq. God forbid, should
anything happen to either one of
them, you would be one of my first
contacts. I just cannot explain
how moved I was by your
presence. You exhibited what
makes this country great. It
gave me a great feeling of comfort
and pride to know you were there.
Again, thank
you from the bottom of my heart.
Sheila H.
