I can't tell you how
wonderful it felt to enter the
funeral home parking lot and see so
many men and women standing holding
flags around the building and through
the parking lot and area. It truly
was uplifting. I wanted to tell you
what a great thing it is that you you
do. As friends of the family we can
only be there to show our support but
it was nothing compared to the honor
they felt at having all of you there
today.
Thank you for what you
do,
Sandra Mominee

I have been a Guard Rider for a
couple of years now, and will proudly
stand with you all whenever I
can. As the father of a 22 year
old Marine Sergeant, I know how
important it is to have support for
'our kids'. My son is based at
Camp Lejeune, N.C.
He called yesterday and said, 'Pops,
I saw some of your friends from the
Patriot Guard Riders in Jacksonville
today. The Westboro Church
idiots had gotten a permit
to hold one of their moronic
protests'. The Guard was
there to help all the service man and
women stay out of trouble by handling
the protesters.
I was extremely proud when he said
the riders he saw were my friends.
I want to send out my heartfelt
thanks to all my brothers and sisters
that rode in Jacksonville yesterday
1-25-08. Thank you for watching
out for my son, and all the other
sons and daughters when we parents
can not be there to do it. I
realize we ride for all service
members, both living and passed on,
but this one was for my kid.
I will continue to proudly call
myself a Patriot Guard Rider, and
hopefully a friend to all other
riders. Thank you again, and
let's continue doing what we are
doing. Be safe!
