Bob,
Words cannot express
my gratitude for your leadership in
bringing the Patriot Guard Riders to
honor my son, Cpl Aaron Miller, USMC
on Saturday, 3/22/08, in Wilmington,
Ohio. It was the most professional
display of patriotism conducted by a
civilian group I've seen in these
parts for some time. What's more,
you're all vets! That made it really
special for my son, although he
obviously was overwhelmed with the
event and was having a hard time
coping with it all.
There was no way that
I could have conducted a reception
for Aaron that would have meant as
much to him as you have done with
your riders. We were honored with
your presence, blessed by your words,
and encouraged by your patriotism and
selfless dedication to a cause that
asks for nothing in return. I feel
honored to live in a country that has
produced such stellar examples as you
have displayed for us today. God
bless you all and God bless these
United States.
Regards,
Craig T. Miller,
Proud Father of Cpl
Aaron Miller.

Hello,
This is Clp. David Armstrongs
parents. We sincerly want to thank
each and everyone of you that
attended David's service's. It was
bitter cold out there that day. We
can't say enough about what you do
for the family's of fallen soliders.
Everyone we talked to was so
impressed by you standing there with
your flags. I'm so glad that my
brother went out to shake your hands.
We started a memorial for David at
the Zanesville Police Dept. K-9
division for his love of dogs. That's
what he wanted to do when he got out
of the service. David got to work
with a dog in Iraq who rode with him
in his humvee. His Cpl. Keil said the
dog loved David and David loved the
dog. His name is lasso. His Clp. said
the dog would have his nose in
David's ear when he was driving and
David would be petting the dog. His
Clp. said Armstrong keep you hands on
the wheel and stop petting that dog.
They came up to some speed bumps and
his Cpl. didn't know what David was
doing when he grabed the radio to
talk to the lead humvee and said, hey
can you slow down a little bit you
gotta take it easy on the dog. We
think it would be wonderful if they
could get a dog and name him Dave.
They would also have the police car
saying in memory of Cpl. David
Armstrong. If anyone wished to donate
please send it to Zanesville City
Police Dept. K-9 division. 332 S. St.
Zanesville, Ohio 43701
Feel free to pass this along to
everyone. We thank you all for you
condolence letters. You are making a
difference in the lives of the
familys who have lost a loved one. We
are so proud of him and want to keep
his memory alive.
Thank you again.
Dave and Marcie Armstrong
